Motorcyclist, 51, killed in Queens collision: cops



One person was killed when a car collided with a motorcycle in Queens, cops said.

The deadly incident unfolded Friday in Flushing at about 2:45 p.m., cops said.

The unidentified motorcyclist, 51, was traveling southbound on 164th Street at 35th Avenue when he was struck by a 2004 Toyota Camry heading east on 35th Avenue, the NYPD said. The victim, who suffered severe head trauma, was pronounced dead at New York-Presbyterian Hospital – Queens. There were no arrests.

The NYPD Collision Investigation Squad is probing the crash. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification, police said.

The other driver “remained on scene and is cooperating,” an NYPD spokeswoman told the Post on Saturday.
