A stranger repeatedly stabbed a 15-year-old boy during a broad-daylight fight on a Bronx street, disturbing video released Thursday shows.
The victim was sitting on his scooter at the corner of 179th Street and University Avenue in University Heights a few minutes before 3 p.m. Feb. 24 when a man approached him and sparked a dispute, cops said.
The teen got off his scooter and the fight turned physical, the video shows.
The suspect knocked the teen victim to the ground and stabbed him three times with a knife, according to police and the surveillance video.
He then took off, heading east on West Burnside Avenue, police said.
Nothing was stolen from the teen, who was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, and has since been treated and released.
The attacker is described as in his 20s, around 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds, with a small build and black hair, cops said.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, a grey hooded sweat jacket, grey pants, a black surgical mask and sneakers.
